Professor Yuichi Ikuhara was awarded “7th Honda Frontier Award” for 2010.

幾原雄一教授が2010年第7回本多フロンティア賞を受賞しました。

本多フロンティア賞は材料科学および材料工学における画期的な発明に対して財団法人本多記念会によって贈られる賞である。
2010年、この賞は「セラミックス粒界超構造の計測と粒界・転位制御材料の創出」の業績により、幾原雄一教授が受賞されました。

Professor Yuichi Ikuhara was awarded “7th Honda Frontier Award” for 2010.

“The Honda Frontier Award” is an annual award given by the Honda Memorial Foundation to recognize and encourage epoch-making invention or discovery in the materials science and technology.
In 2010, this Prize was awarded by Prof. Y. Ikuhara for “Atomic Resolution Characterization of Grain Boundary Superstructures and Creation of Dislocation Technology in Ceramics”.
